The Evolution of the School :
VIDYANIKETAN PUBLIC SCHOOL founded in 1999 by Vidyasagar Educational trust a non profit educational and social organization formed by many highly qualified professionals of this area. The aim was to build an environment of learning at GUNUPUR.
With a noble ambition and sincere effort, the school was inaugurated in its own building. It was given a festive start with its NURSERY having only a few students. This institution never looked back since 1999 and its strength increases on cent percent basis every year and adds one higher class to the school academic structure.
The school management got full support from all the parents, educationalists, politicians, bureaucrats, businessman as well as common people. Everyone reached out a helping hand to make the infants’ school feels a non-stop progress. As a result, the school became the cynosure of everyone’s eyes. Today, it is ranked as one of the best schools of the zone. The continuous Herculean endeavours of the Management created a miles stone. Within a short span of time this school was expanded to a new gigantic building of its owvn(upto STD VIII)..The school has 4 buses for the conveyance of the students .

VIDYANIKETAN PUBLIC SCHOOL was established under the TRUST act.. The school has already obtained N.O.C. from the State Govt, upto Class VIII and it is in the process of getting affiliation from the CBSE, New Delhi. Inspite of several huddles, the management is duly dedicated to take the school upto the level of class X. It has planned to build a hostel for country side children.
Emphasis is always being given on providing the best possible education to the students. Much has been done. Much more needs to be done. The future is bright and there is hope!
